I have played millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the idea that 21 seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You must comprehend that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
