Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster
Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a crazy ride. It is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you grow your bankroll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom falls out.
Blackjack is so akin to a crazy ride the similarities are astonishing. As is the case with the popular fair ground ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem as though they are going well for a time before it bottoms out again. You most certainly have to be a blackjack player that will be able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is choked full with them.
If you like the small coaster, one that does not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the mad ride is with a larger wager, then jump on for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster wild ride because he or she is not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that is an amazing feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not remember how much you enjoyed everything while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride and your head in the air. As you are remembering "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will remember that mortifying drop as clear as day.
