I have gambled on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
